Key Responsibilities:
- Software Proficiency:
- Proficient in 3DS Max or similar software.
- Ability to export file formats usable in 3DS Max.
- Research and gather suitable references, including technical drawings, manuals, and photos.
- Create game-ready models, specializing in vehicles, mechanical structures, and characters.
- Ensure models are built to real-world size using accurate measurements.
- Limit triangle count without compromising quality, using normal maps for detailed elements.
- Rig models using mesh parts as bones to simplify the process.
- Create realistic animations within the resource's limitations.
- Name animations clearly and follow established naming standards.
- Unwrap UVs and apply textures as needed.
- Match materials and colors to real-life appearances and company branding.
Qualifications:
- Experience in game-ready modeling.
- Proficiency in 3DS Max or similar software.
- Rigging and animation experience.
- Strong understanding of unwrapping and texturing.
- Ability to work with technical drawings and reference materials.
