We’re looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join our team!
You'll be responsible for managing financial transactions, invoicing, reconciliation, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This role supports both Go Tours Hawaii and Go Source, handling financial operations in real-time during Hawaii business hours. While this is a full-time position, working hours may vary based on business needs, so flexibility is essential.

Responsibilities:
- Handle accounts receivable, including invoicing clients, tracking outstanding payments, and processing refunds/cancellations.
- Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely payments to suppliers (airlines, hotels, tour operators).
- Perform bank, credit card, loan, and intercompany reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare and generate financial reports (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement).
- Ensure tax compliance, including sales tax calculations and filings.
- Monitor and track commission payments from suppliers.
- Manage foreign currency transactions and record exchange rate gains/losses.
- Oversee credit card processing, ensuring transactions align with bank records.
- Implement internal controls to prevent fraud and improve financial accuracy.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting to help plan financial strategies.
- Handle additional executive assistant accounting tasks, including personal finances, as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance (preferably in travel, tourism, or hospitality industries).
- Preferred experience in handling U.S.-based or international accounts, outsourced accounting, or working with offshore clients.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
- Strong understanding of financial reconciliation, reporting, and tax compliance.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive in solving financial discrepancies.
- Comfortable working with international teams and communicating with foreign clients or colleagues.
- Ability to adapt and manage financial operations across multiple businesses.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks efficiently, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teams.
