The Accounting Manager oversees and manages the company’s financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and effective budget management. This role involves supervising the accounting team, managing financial records, and providing strategic insights to support the company’s financial health and growth.
Duties and Responsibilities- Accounting Manager:
- Analyze and verify daily financial reports from all branches, including sales and expenses, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Monitor and validate branch expenses and sales transactions, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to company policies.
- Oversee and audit cash handling procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance with security protocols.
- Communicate with Department Heads to address and resolve financial issues, discrepancies, and operational concerns.
- Liaise with external accountants or bookkeepers to ensure accurate financial reporting and adherence to accounting standards.
- Visit branches to review and audit cashier operations, ensuring proper cash handling and adherence to company procedures.
- Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to the Chief of Finance or President, highlighting key financial metrics, issues, and recommendations.
- Supervise, support, and mentor the Accounting Staff, providing guidance and conducting performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and standards, and coordinate internal and external audits as necessary.
- Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
