About the role
As an Accounting Officer (CPA), you will play a crucial role in the company's financial operations, working full-time from our Lapu-Lapu City Cebu office. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, supporting the company's strategic objectives through effective financial management.
What you'll be doing
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable
- Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns and other regulatory reports
- Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making
- Continuously monitor and improve financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
What we're looking for
- Must be Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably in the logistics industry
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements
- Proficient in the use of financial software and spreadsheet applications
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate financial information effectively
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
