We are seeking an Accounting Staff/Bookkeeper responsible for preparing and reviewing financial documents, reports, and statements. The role involves overseeing various accounting procedures, including tax returns, closures, budgeting, and maintaining accurate records of accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations to ensure compliance with the center's financial data.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure the accuracy of accounting records and keep them up to date
- Analyze and monitor the budget, generating financial reports
- Handle tax payments and returns by examining tax policies
- Categorize records and post transactions in the general ledger
- Conduct month-end and year-end closures
- Prepare necessary documents for audits
- Handle monthly payroll
- Collaborate with the Accounting Head and contribute to enhancing financial processes
Job Qualifications:
- Graduate of any business-related courses
- Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and accounting systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented and able to prioritize
- Able to prepare, review, and understand a financial statement
- Able to work independently and as apart of a team
