Responsibilities (How We Will Measure Success)
- Ensure all team members meet KPIs, statutory/client deadlines, and follow internal SOPs.
- Provide adequate support to the team for all accounting requirements.
- Train and mentor team members to enhance both technical and people management skills.
- Ensure clients receive timely and accurate accounting information and support.
- Act as the first point of contact for client complaints and resolve issues promptly.
- Monitor client satisfaction and implement improvements to maintain high service standards.
- Identify inefficiencies in accounting processes and propose workflow improvements.
- Stay updated with industry trends and changes in accounting regulations to ensure compliance.
Tasks (Day-to-Day Duties)
- Supervise and guide the accounting team to deliver work in line with company quality standards.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback for professional growth.
- Collaborate with the Accounting Manager and Assistant Managers to design and implement training programs aligned with team and industry needs.
- Understand client needs and streamline workflows to deliver more client-centric service.
- Serve as the first tier in resolving accounting-related issues with clients.
- Ensure the team continuously develops both technical expertise and soft skills for career progression.
Who you are:
⭐ Candidates should either have a degree/diploma in accountancy (ACCA/ISCA certificate a plus).
⭐ 3-6 years of experience in an outsourcing firm will be an added advantage (1-2 years experience in managing people).
⭐ Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets.
⭐ A team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
⭐ Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
⭐ Strong drive to excel professionally, and to guide and motivate others.
⭐ Independent in managing own workload, ability to work under pressure and
keep things moving and juggle multiple tasks.
⭐ Experience with Xero will be an added advantage.
