Job Description
The AI Enablement Lead will be responsible for driving, coordinating, and providing technical expertise in the implementation of artificial intelligence tools and systems across Foundry for Good. This is a new role designed to bring technical expertise and support across the organization around the implementation of AI technologies to drive the desired business outcomes. The individual will serve as the central point of contact for AI adoption, working across all departments to identify opportunities, deploy AI solutions, and build enterprise-wide AI competency.
Responsibilities and Duties
Project Identification & Management: Identify potential AI use cases and projects across the organization by collaborating with each business unit. Prioritize a portfolio of AI initiatives based on business impact and feasibility and manage these projects through their lifecycle (from proof of concept to full deployment).
Technical Implementation: Oversee the technical implementation of AI tools and systems. This includes selecting appropriate AI technologies (e.g. machine learning models, generative AI tools, RPA software) and coordinating with IT or external vendors to integrate these tools into existing workflows. Where feasible, develop small prototypes or proof-of-concept solutions directly.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders in all 3 business engines (Organic Growth, Business Operations, Delivery) to understand their processes and pain points. Ensure AI solutions are tailored to each function’s needs and are integrated smoothly into operations.
Training & Enablement: Develop and deliver training programs or documentation to help employees adopt new AI-driven tools. This includes educating teams on how to use AI applications (e.g. an AI-enhanced CPQ system or an AI-based data analytics tool) and promoting best practices in line with the AI policy.
AI Governance & Policy Compliance: Serve as the guardian of the corporate AI policy, ensuring that all AI use within the company meets guidelines for ethical use, data security, and compliance. This involves working with the Legal/Compliance team to assess tools for risks and with IT to enforce data privacy standards in AI projects.
Continuous Innovation: Stay up-to-date with AI industry trends and emerging technologies. Proactively recommend new tools or approaches that could benefit Foundry for Good (for example, improvements in generative AI that could automate content creation or advances in predictive analytics for sales forecasting).
Vendor and Partner Management: Manage relationships with AI technology vendors or consultants if third-party solutions are used. Evaluate vendor offerings and negotiate contracts to fit the company’s budget and requirements.
Champion Network Leadership: Build and lead an internal network of “AI Champions” (representatives in each department – see AI Champions Program below). Provide these champions with guidance, coordinate their efforts, and incorporate their feedback to drive grassroots AI adoption across all teams.
Qualifications
Technical Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Hands-on experience with AI/ML technologies – for example, familiarity with generative AI tools (like large language models), specialized AI solutions, or process automation platforms.
Ability to evaluate and implement software tools and APIs; comfort with scripting or light programming to customize solutions or analyze data.
Solid understanding of data privacy, security, and ethical considerations in AI, ensuring compliance with responsible AI practices and regulations.
Professional Experience:
3+ years of experience in a technology strategy, IT project management, or solutions architect role (experience leading AI or automation projects is highly desirable).
Proven track record of managing projects from concept to delivery, including coordinating cross-functional teams, timeline and budget management, and stakeholder communication.
Experience in driving digital transformation or innovation initiatives within an organization, preferably in a software or manufacturing-focused company.
Strong business acumen to align technical solutions with business goals – able to understand various departmental functions (sales, marketing, product development, operations, etc.) and identify where AI can add value.

As a small growing business, there are a few traits unique to our business that individuals should consider before applying.
You must love the idea of giving back to the community and nonprofits. There are thousands of jobs. If being involved in the success of nonprofits is something you’re truly passionate about, this could be a great role.
You must be extremely comfortable with change. As a small growing company, decisions can be made over a weekend and fully implemented by early the next week. Whether that’s new systems, new processes, or new approaches, we look for individuals who can adapt and thrive.
You must believe that the best contributors should get better rewards. As a company, we believe in paying people based on the value they generate at the business.
You must be willing to disagree and commit. As a growing business, there will be lots of decisions that get made and changes that occur during your time at the company. Some of which you’ll agree with and some you won’t, we strongly believe that the best team members have the ability to disagree and commit (i.e., going with a decision after it has been made regardless of whether or not you agree).
You must believe the status quo is unacceptable. As a growing company and as individuals, we believe the status quo is unacceptable. Everyone should be relentless in striving to be the best version of themselves and figure out ways to create more value at the company, enhance our client's results, and grow professionally. The question should always be “How can I be better” rather than “How can expectations be adjusted”.
We also need you to:
Be able to work independently and have a proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Have excellent written & verbal communication skills
Have a demonstrated ability to learn new things quickly and think on your feet
Can work through obstacles and challenges
