Key Responsibilities:
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Analyst, Treasury & Insurance plays a pivotal role in supporting the operational, data, and compliance functions across both the treasury and insurance departments. This dual-function position is integral to ensuring smooth day-to-day operations by providing accurate, timely, and actionable information.
Key responsibilities include preparing and maintaining departmental reports, assisting with budgeting processes, processing invoices, and conducting data collection and analysis. The analyst will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, analytical, and adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. They also much be proficient in utilizing digital tools, data analytics, and emerging technologies to drive efficiency and informed decision-making. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to prioritize deliverables.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work Flow Management:
- Email Workflow Management: Monitor and route incoming emails from shared mailboxes, ensuring timely and accurate distribution of information [following post-technology and efficiency review protocols].
- Data Management on WVCentral: Maintain, update, and ensure the accuracy of information on WVCentral.
- Ad Hoc Operational Support: Perform a variety of operational tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness to evolving departmental needs.
- Cash Forecasting: Assist in the preparation and analysis of cash flow forecasts to support treasury planning and liquidity management.
- Trading Request Consolidation: Collect, review, and consolidate trading requests from various stakeholders.
- Calendar Management: Maintain and coordinate a comprehensive calendar of treasury and insurance-related activities, deadlines, and deliverables to ensure smooth operations and compliance.
Data Collection and Management
- Support Global Asset Verification: Assist in the coordination and execution of the Annual Global Asset Verification program by coordinating the calendar, scheduling meetings, and ensuring alignment with Global Real Estate.
- Maintain Partnership Headcount Records: Track and update headcount data by employee, employment type (e.g., full-time, part-time, contractor), and geographic location.
- Track Coverage Metrics: Maintain accurate counts and records of coverage for spouses, children, donors, volunteers, and other relevant groups to support insurance and benefits reporting.
- Library Management Oversight: Take ownership of the library system post-project implementation, ensuring ongoing maintenance, data integrity, and accessibility for Global Treasury Staff.
Document Management
- Maintain Bank Account Records: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of bank account data used for intercompany transfers, supporting financial integrity and operational efficiency.
- Dealing Mandate Preparation: Draft, prepare, and circulate dealing mandates for appropriate signatures, ensuring timely authorization and compliance with internal controls.
- KYC Registry Management: Oversee WVI’s Know Your Customer (KYC) registry, including the collection, updating, and secure storage of documentation and authorized signatory records.
- OFAC License Documentation: Maintain and share up-to-date OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) license information to support compliance with international sanctions regulations.
- In-House Bank Agreements: Prepare and distribute in-house bank agreements for review and signature, ensuring alignment with treasury policies and legal standards.
Invoices / Accounting / Budgeting
- Manage ProVision Requisitions: Oversee the end-to-end process of ProVision requisitions, from initiation through to payment, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.
- Accounting Support: Provide timely and accurate financial information to internal teams as needed, supporting journal entries, reconciliations, and other accounting functions.
- Budget Coordination Assistance: Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure budget alignment and provide data to support forecasting and variance analysis.
Reporting
- Prepare and Distribute Internal Bank Statements: Generate and circulate internal bank statements on a regular basis to ensure transparency and support financial reconciliation processes.
- Distribute State Posting Notices – Workers’ Compensation (WC): Ensure timely distribution of required state posting notices related to workers’ compensation, maintaining compliance with labor regulations.
- Generate Staff Reports in Acute Risk Zones: Compile and distribute reports on staff presence in high-risk geographic areas to support risk management and staff care obligations.
- Submit Quarterly Wage Reports to the State of Washington: Prepare and file accurate quarterly wage reports in compliance with state employment regulations.
- Coordinate Semi-Annual Auto Insurance Travel Updates: Collect and update travel data for auto insurance purposes, ensuring coverage accuracy and risk mitigation.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business (Finance, Accounting), Insurance or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in insurance, finance, or treasury operations.
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills; experience with financial systems (e.g., ProVision), PowerPoint, website management
- Proficient in utilizing digital tools, data analytics, and emerging technologies to drive efficiency and informed decision-making
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- 3+ years of experience in insurance, finance, or treasury operations.
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills; experience with financial systems (e.g., ProVision), PowerPoint, website management
- Proficient in utilizing digital tools, data analytics, and emerging technologies to drive efficiency and informed decision-making
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Amenable to work on a 5:00pm to 2:00am Work Shift - Manila Time
