OVERVIEW:
At Nestlé, you’ll help bring nutrition, health and wellness to life—empowering communities and partners with science‑based nutrition while building a high‑performing field team. This role leads an area portfolio and team to deliver nutrition education, stakeholder engagement, and business results in line with our Nestlé Health & Wellness (NHW) ambition. You will be responsible for ethically and science based building the image of and the role of Nestle Infant and Maternal Nutrition products in the 1st 1000 days, with Health Care Professionals and institutions and within a specified territory.
A day in a life of an Area Nutrition Manager includes
- Lead and coach a field nutrition team (e.g., Nutrition Sales Specialists/Advisors) to hit coverage, education, and commercial KPIs across [HCP/Community/Trade] channels in your territory.
- Drive science‑based engagement with HCPs, KOLs and partners—ensuring credible nutrition education and compliant deployment of claims and communications.
- Plan the area strategy and execution (segmentation, targeting, routing, omni‑channel touchpoints, events), aligned to brand/category priorities and NHW initiatives.
- Partner cross‑functionally (Marketing, Medical/Scientific Affairs, SFE) to translate insights into actions, optimize campaigns, and strengthen advocacy programs.
- Uphold compliance and quality—governance of ethical interactions, data quality for nutrition programs, and accurate reporting.
- Develop talent—coach, field‑travel, and run capability sprints so your team consistently executes the best‑in‑class job structure and on‑brand messaging.
What will make you successful?
- At least 8 years in Nutrition/Healthcare/Consumer Health (field leadership preferred), leading advisors/medical reps or nutrition specialists across multi‑province territories.
- Strong grasp of nutrition science and with proven KOL/HCP engagement and compliant claims deployment.
- Clear people leadership, coaching mindset, and data‑driven territory management.
- Preferrably from related life‑sciences background and with a valid driver’s license.
- Comfortable with fieldwork, [~50–70%] travel in‑territory, and cross‑functional collaboration.
