The Area Supervisor oversees the daily operations of multiple franchise stores, ensuring each location consistently adheres to standard operating procedures. Regularly conduct store visits to assess performance, provide support, and promptly address any operational concerns to maintain excellent food quality and service.
The Area Supervisor reports directly to the Business Unit Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading Operational Concerns: Conducts daily store visit at Ieast three (3) stores per day. Ensures standard operating procedures are being followed. Proactively addresses immediate store-level concerns that may impact store and staff performance, taking full ownership of issues until resolution is achieved. Demonstrate flexibility by accommodating irregular work schedule and deployment to other locations based on store requirements.
- Staff Management and Training: Provide guidance and support to new hires regarding training schedules and procedures. Ensure deployed crew at the stores have completed the training program. Impart essential operational skills and company standards to foster consistent performance and service quality.
- Franchise Relations: Establishes open communication and collaboration with franchisee to sustain strong partnership to enhance operational efficiency and mutual growth.
- Customer Satisfaction: It should be a routine to monitor and emphasize importance of following standard operating procedures (SOPs). These procedures are designed to maintain service consistency, minimize errors, and produce a high-quality product and service to our valued customer.
- Perform administrative work: Tracking and reporting operational matters, ensuring accurate documentation, timely updates, and effective communication with relevant departments.
- New Store Opening/Renovation: Provide assistance to a newly opened store, starting from the official turnover date by the Project Administrator. Ensures the store's readiness to day to day operation. For renovation, processing of pertinent documents needed for ingress and egress and other store related concern.
Qualifications:
- Must have at least two (2) years of supervisory or managerial experience in the food industry.
- With leadership and team management exposure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Can manage multiple stores' concern and make appropriate resolutions.
- Ability to adapt to dynamic environment and manage change effectively.
- Amenable to deployment or assignment to any location as needed.
- Exposure on a franchising system is an advantage.
