We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Asset Management Staff to join our team. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for managing and executing the liquidation of company assets in a timely, strategic, and compliant manner. This role requires strong organizational skills, knowledge of asset valuation and disposal methods, and the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed inventory and assessment of company assets for liquidation.
- Evaluate asset value and determine appropriate liquidation strategies (e.g., sale, auction, and disposal).
- Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure proper documentation and approval prior to asset liquidation.
- Engage with buyers, brokers, and third-party vendors to facilitate asset sales.
- Monitor and report on the status of liquidation activities and provide regular updates to management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws related to asset disposal.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and prepare liquidation reports.
- Assist in the development of asset management and liquidation procedures.
- Support audit processes related to asset disposition.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in asset management, liquidation, or related roles.
- Advantage: Experience working in a banking or financing company.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of asset valuation, depreciation, and disposal processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and asset management systems/tools.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
- Preferred Attributes:
- Familiarity with financial regulations and asset disposal compliance.
- Experience handling distressed or non-performing assets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
