We are now looking to hire a talented individual as an Associate to join our office in Manila and to help developing the Swedish business footprint in the Philippines and Asia-Pacific. This is management consulting with a higher purpose.
We deliver advisory and consultancy services, as well as trade and investment promotion, related to revenue growth for Swedish companies across various sectors such as infrastructure, energy, healthcare, transportation, services, and manufacturing. Our clients’ businesses are often driven by innovation, efficiency, sustainability and digitalization. Our consultancy scope includes, but is not limited to, market entry and growth strategy, public affairs, sales channel set-up, M&A, legal establishment and incorporation, as well as client and partner acquisition.
What do we expect from you?
We are currently looking to expand the team with someone who can adapt to a fast-paced environment and a steep learning curve, and is interested in working in a dedicated team supporting Swedish clients in their growth journey in the Philippines, as well as the rest of Asia-Pacific.
Professional experience in consulting, in-house strategy, or business development role is a strong advantage, with background in government also being is a strong merit. You will be working in project teams collecting, analyzing, and presenting information and insights to our clients, which you mostly get from interactions with external stakeholders in the market. While most work will take place in the Metro Manila area, you will likely be asked to travel in the Philippines from time to time.
You will support senior colleagues in sales dialogues and insight-driven development of new business opportunities, as well as prospecting and, together with the team, develop customer value propositions. We have a strong team in place, and we set the bar high for applicants’ aptitude in being a team player and not being afraid to roll up their sleeves. Having a strong drive, the ability to work independently, building networks, and having a curious mind are key characteristics needed.
The role includes both strategic, tactic and operational responsibilities such as:
- Conducting interviews with relevant stakeholders, e.g. industry associations, government bodies, industry experts and the private business sector
- Compiling and presenting data in reports to clients
- Assist in arranging events and activities with other local associations and Swedish official stakeholders, such as the embassy
- On behalf of clients, identify potential partners or customers/clients
The role is based in Makati, but you will be expected to work with our teams and clients around the world, as required.

Formal requirements
- Bachelor of science in Business Administration or Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience from a consultancy firm or equivalent.
- You have experience from multi-stakeholder projects, e.g. across the private, public or NGOs
- Excellent skills in excel/ppt
- You have a high level of proficiency in English
- It is a plus if you have experience from living/working in other parts of the world.
