JOB PURPOSE
The Equipment Specialist is responsible for assisting customers with equipment repair requests and escalations, providing consumer assistance with vending machine issues, and offering phone support for machine fixes. This role requires a deep understanding of how machines work and maintaining strong local stakeholder relationships with the Internal Support team and EQS Allocators Specialist.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist customers with equipment repair requests and handle equipment escalations promptly and effectively.
- Provide consumer assistance with vending machine issues, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions.
- Use technical knowledge to troubleshoot and phone fix machine issues.
- Maintain strong relationships with local stakeholders, including the Internal Support team and EQS Allocators Specialist, to ensure seamless support and resolution of issues.
- Communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders to provide clear and concise information and updates.
- Document and track repair requests, escalations, and resolutions to ensure accountability and continuous improvement.
- Stay updated on the latest equipment and machine technologies to provide the most accurate and efficient support.
REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport & influence decision markets
- Ability to effectively problem solve
- Proficient in using customer service software, CRM tools, and other relevant technologies
- Willingness to learn, adapt to changing market conditions, and embrace new sales techniques.
- Demonstrate resilience in handling objections & challenging situations
- Maintain high levels of productivity and accuracy under pressure.
- Relevant Bachelor's Degree desirable
