The Automotive Electrician is responsible for the repair and maintenance of all cargo handling equipment. They inspect and identify malfunctions or damage and perform the necessary corrective and/or preventive actions.
- Takes charge of repairing, troubleshooting, and upgrading the equipment’s electrical and electronic system as well as the devices that rely on electrical energy.
- Performs overhauling, testing, and servicing of electrical system components such as replacing batteries, repair and/or troubleshooting of alternator, starter, electrical motor and soldering.
- Performs diagnostic procedures on faulty electrical and electronic systems of equipment.
- Identifies faulty automotive parts and components.
- Performs other duties as may be required by superiors.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Vocational or technical course in Automotive Electrician or a related field
- With NC II Certification (Automotive Electrician)
- At least 2–3 years of experience in handling heavy equipment or port cargo handling equipment
- Willing to be assigned in Zamboanga City, Zamboanga Del Sur
