Job Summary:
The Automotive Mechanic is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles, ensuring they are safe, reliable, and operating at optimal performance. The role involves routine maintenance services, mechanical repairs, and addressing customer or company concerns related to vehicle performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance services (oil changes, tire rotations, brake servicing, etc.).
- Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and visual inspection.
- Repair and replace vehicle parts including engines, transmission systems, suspension, brakes, steering, and electrical systems.
- Conduct multi-point inspections on vehicles and recommend needed repairs.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs and services performed.
- Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
- Communicate effectively with Service Managers, colleagues, and customers regarding required repairs, estimated timelines, and cost estimates.
- Stay updated on latest automotive technologies and participate in required training.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of parts and tools.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Technical school certificate or vocational training preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an automotive mechanic or in a related field.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques.
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment and hand/power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting skills.
- Good physical stamina; able to work in various positions and handle heavy parts.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
Certifications (Preferred but not required):
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.
- Manufacturer-specific certifications.

Pay: Php12,207.00 - Php13,500.00 per month
