Work you will do
Deloitte’s Engineering offers help to enable organization’s end-to-end journey from on-premise legacy systems to the cloud, from design through deployment, and leading to the ultimate destination—a transformed organization primed for growth.
As an Azure Integration Consultant, you are responsible for:
- Azure Cloud Application Development
- Developing applications using Azure App Services (Web Apps, API Apps, Mobile Apps).
- Building serverless applications with Azure Functions and Logic Apps
- Database & Storage Management
- Using Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB, and Azure Table Storage for data persistence
- Implementing Blob Storage and Azure Files for scalable storage solutions.
- Ensuring high availability with geo-replication and backups.
- API Development & Integration
- Developing RESTful APIs using .NET Core or TypeScript and hosting them on Azure API Management (APIM).
- Implementing OAuth, OpenID Connect, and Managed Identities for secure API authentication.
- Using Event Grid, Service Bus, and Event Hub for messaging and event-driven architecture.
- DevOps & CI/CD Pipelines
- Automating deployments with Azure DevOps Pipelines or GitHub Actions.
- Managing infrastructure as code (IaC) with Bicep, Terraform, or ARM templates.
- Ensuring smooth rollout of updates using Blue-Green and Canary deployments.
- Security & Identity Management
- Implementing Azure Active Directory (AAD), Managed Identities, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
- Using Azure Key Vault to manage secrets, certificates, and encryption keys.
- Monitoring & Performance Optimization
- Using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics for tracking app performance.
- Scaling applications dynamically with Autoscaling and Load Balancers.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Cloud Development or Software Engineering related roles.
- Experienced in Cloud Development Fundamentals, such as: Azure Services, Azure Storage, Networking and Security
- Experienced in Programming and Development: Back-end Development, API Development, Messaging and Event-Driven Architecture, Microservices and Serverless.
- Experience in DevOps and Automation: CI/CD Pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Monitoring and Logging, Testing and Debugging
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.

- Azure Storage – Blob, Table, Queue, Cosmos DB, SQL Database.
- Networking – VNETs, Load Balancers, Private Endpoints, Application Gateway.
- Security – Azure AD, Managed Identities, Key Vault, RBAC, OAuth2.0.
- Programming & Development
- Backend Development – .NET (C#), Python, Typescript.
- API Development – RESTful APIs, GraphQL, OpenAPI.
- Messaging & Event-Driven Architecture – Azure Service Bus, Event Hub.
- Microservices & Serverless – Azure Functions, Container Apps.
- DevOps & Automation
- CI/CD Pipelines – Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – Bicep, Terraform, ARM templates.
- Monitoring & Logging – Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics.
- Testing & Debugging – Unit Testing, Integration Testing, Postman, Mock Testing.
