Job Summary
The Baker / Commissary Assistant is responsible for producing high-quality baked goods and assisting in overall commissary operations to ensure consistent supply for all store branches. This role involves preparation, baking, packing, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the commissary, while adhering to company standards for food safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Baking & Food Preparation
- Prepare doughs according to company recipes and specifications.
- Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers and proofers safely and efficiently.
- Monitor baking processes to ensure products meet quality standards in taste, texture, and presentation.
- Assist in par-baking, pre-portioning, and freezing products as required for commissary distribution.
Commissary Support
- Assist in preparation and packing of ingredients, sauces, dough, and other products for store deliveries.
- Help maintain accurate inventory of baking ingredients and commissary supplies.
- Support other food production activities in the commissary during downtime in baking operations.
Quality & Food Safety
- Follow standard operating procedures for food safety, sanitation, and hygiene at all times.
- Check product quality, freshness, and appearance before packing or dispatch.
- Ensure proper storage and labeling of ingredients and finished goods.
Equipment & Facility Maintenance
- Clean and maintain baking tools, machinery, and commissary work areas after each shift.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the Commissary Supervisor promptly.

Pay: From Php15,000.00 per month
