What you'll be doing
- Supervising and coordinating the work of bar staff, including scheduling, training and performance management
- Ensuring the bar is well-stocked and maintains inventory levels
- Monitoring and managing bar finances, including cash handling, pricing and cost control
- Developing and implementing bar policies, procedures and standards of service
- Providing hands-on support during peak periods to deliver excellent customer experiences
- Identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to enhance bar operations
- Fostering a positive and productive work environment for the bar team
What we're looking for
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a bar supervisor or management role within the hospitality industry
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences
- Sound financial management skills, including experience with inventory control, cash handling and bar costing
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Qualifications or certification in bar management, mixology or a related field are desirable
