Oversees growth, profitability and expansion of client base by defining target market to be served by the branch. Monitors sales volume and objectives as agreed upon by the RBG Head/ Management
Performs marketing calls, initiates credit proposals. Oversees branch activity and continuity of its operations
Performs Budget preparation for volume, revenue/income analysis of the branch. Implements cost-cutting measures. Monitors security measures of the branch
Reviews and evaluates performance of branch officers and staff and ensures continuous training and skills upgrading of employees.
Ensures that Branch conforms to all established Bank policies, rules and regulations. Handles client’s complaints. Monitors service quality and customer satisfaction.
Operations and Control: Ensures controls on keys, dial combinations and access to main door and main vault. Performs Opening of Branch Main Door, Vault Door and Cash Safe and ensures dual custody. Performs ‘start of day’
Reviews vault record book on a daily basis to check on daily opening, closing and access to vault. Checks on CIV & Cash in ATM by performing surprise count. Approves and reviews account opening
Approves over-the-counter transactions (in accordance with transaction limits approved by management). Approves closing of account. Approves and monitor dormant account and its reactivation
Approves expenses in accordance by limits approved by management, monitor BP availment in accordance with limits approved by management.
Signs on Bank Certification, Manager’s Checks, Drafts, Certificates of Deposits. Reviews various reports of the branch
Presides over meetings to discuss latest policies, circulars, and operational guidelines from EO/Operations and Branches
