Job Summary
Responsible for creating and modifying technical drawings and designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
What you'll be doing
- Produce and edit 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models to support the design and development of engineering projects
- Interpret design specifications and technical requirements to create accurate and detailed CAD outputs
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to incorporate changes and updates into CAD files
- Maintain a comprehensive library of CAD files and ensure proper version control
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other project documentation
- Stay up-to-date with the latest CAD software, tools, and industry best practices
What we're looking for
- Graduate of BS Architecture
- 1-2 years experience preferred; exceptional fresh graduates with relevant internships will be considered
- Licensed/Non-licensed architects welcome to apply.
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD and other CAD software, with a strong understanding of drafting principles and techniques
- Proficient in AutoCAD (essential), SketchUp (preferred), and Revit (advantage). Minimum 2 years experience with AutoCAD
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to interpret technical specifications
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve design issues
- Good communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Knowledgeable with construction activities sequence
- Thorough understanding of construction methodologies, building codes, and local construction standards required
