Role Purpose:
Develop and prepares engineering design plans on Type A to E capex projects in order to help the designer develop the complete design plans on-time with quality.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conducts site inspection by on-site field works to validate actual site condition for every project prior to development of engineering plans.
- Prepares design plan developed by Design Engineers by using the Computer Aided Design to help designers prepares the design drawings during the development of design.
- Prepares optional plans by using the Computer Aided Design to optimized site plans based on the actual site condition and project specific requirements during design concept stage.
- Prepares 3D plans by using the Computer Aided Design or other rendering tools to be used for presentation by design engineers or stakeholder during the pre-design approval stage with LGU or other stakeholder.
- Develops and prepares new facility and office architectural design by using the Computer Aided Design to ensure building design compliant to applicable building and architectural standards during the design development.
- Prepares architectural quantity take-off by using applicable engineering tools that is needed to develop detailed cost estimating required for the budget approval of the project.
- Convert sketches or scanned copy to CAD format using the Computer Aided Design tool to update latest engineering plans needed for future design reference.
- Develops and manages drawing design standards using applicable tool to ensure all designers are using same standards during the preparation of design plans.
- Reviews and evaluates drawings compliance to drafting standards
Other Responsibilities:
Performs other related functions inherent in team operation and performs other tasks assigned by higher management
Education and Experience Required:
- Graduate of Architectural or any Engineering course
- Licensed Architect or Engineer
- With at least 5-year work experience in CAD Drafting and Architectural design in an infrastructure and engineering environment – water/wastewater and network infrastructure experience are an advantage
