DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides personal care assistance.
- Monitors vital signs regularly.
- Ensures medication is taken as prescribed, including reminders and assistance.
- Assists with mobility.
- Accompanies and assists during medical appointments, travels, or errands.
- Communicates regularly with family members regarding care updates/information.
- Performs light housekeeping tasks directly related to the patient.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or any related field, caregiving NC II or equivalent preferred.
- Basic First Aid and CPR certification preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills
- Flexible, adaptable, and capable of managing emergency situations.
- Patient, trustworthy, discreet, and emotionally mature.
- Ensures the client’s home is organized according to their needs and that safety measures are in place.
- Monitoring and reporting changes in health, behavior, and needs.
WORK CONDITIONS
- Stay-in arrangement
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and extended travel periods
