KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Setting up and operating CNC machines: This includes programming the machines, loading materials, and ensuring proper tool setup.
- Monitoring production: CNC operators watch the machines during operation to ensure accuracy and make adjustments as needed.
- Quality control: They inspect finished parts to verify they meet the required specifications and standards.
- Maintenance and troubleshooting: CNC operators perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints: They need to understand technical drawings to produce parts correctly.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment: Ensuring the workspace is organized and free of hazards.
SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS:
- Technical aptitude: A strong understanding of how CNC machines work and their capabilities.
- Attention to detail: Ensuring accuracy in every step of the production process.
