Job Description:
The Community Relations Officer will play a key role in building and maintaining positive relationships between the company and its host and neighboring communities. The position is responsible for implementing and monitoring community development initiatives, promoting stakeholder engagement, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and representing the company in all community-related matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and manage ASDMP (Annual Social Development and Management Program) and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) activities in line with company goals and government regulations.
- Assess the needs, concerns, and opportunities of local communities to formulate responsive and relevant development programs.
- Develop and coordinate programs, projects, and activities in collaboration with host and neighboring communities, ensuring alignment with local priorities.
- Promote a culture of community service, volunteerism, and social impact within and outside the organization.
- Create and execute programs that support the advancement of mining technology and geosciences as part of the company’s advocacy.
- Institutionalize and manage Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) campaigns aimed at community awareness and engagement.
- Act as the primary liaison for addressing concerns, complaints, or issues raised by stakeholders, ensuring prompt resolution and open communication.
- Process and document donations, sponsorships, and other community assistance efforts as approved by management.
- Monitor, track, and ensure compliance with ASDMP and CSR budgets, reporting spending and progress in accordance with company policies.
- Prepare and submit mandatory reports and documentation required by DENR/MGB and other government or regulatory bodies in a timely and accurate manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Community Development, Social Work, Public Administration, or related field
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in community relations, stakeholder engagement, or CSR implementation
- Familiarity with mining-related social programs and government reporting requirements, particularly DENR/MGB regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Willing to be assigned to or based in Lugait, Bulacan, or Ayungon
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php40,000.00 - Php45,000.00 per month
