Job Summary:
The Company Driver is responsible for safely transporting employees, guests, and company materials as needed. This role also involves assisting in purchasing supplies, providing guest services when required, and performing other operational support tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day company activities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Driving and Transportation
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport staff, guests, and materials to designated locations.
- Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off schedules are met.
- Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and good condition of the assigned vehicle.
- Follow all traffic rules, regulations, and company driving policies.
2. Purchasing Assistance
- Assist in procuring materials, supplies, and equipment as instructed.
- Ensure accurate documentation of purchases (receipts, delivery notes, etc.).
- Verify the quality and quantity of purchased items before transport.
3. Guest Service
- Assist in welcoming and transporting guests to and from designated locations (airports, terminals, event venues, accommodations).
- Provide courteous and professional customer service during guest interactions.
- Handle guest luggage or packages as needed.
4. Operational Support
- Assist in deliveries, document runs, and other logistical requirements.
- Coordinate with various departments for errands and urgent tasks.
- Support event setups, preparations, and other assigned activities.
5. Vehicle Maintenance
- Monitor fuel, oil, water, tire pressure, and other vehicle fluids regularly.
- Schedule and coordinate vehicle servicing and repairs when necessary.
- Report any mechanical issues immediately to the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- At least High School Graduate or equivalent.
- Valid Professional Driver’s License (with restriction codes suitable for company vehicles).
- Minimum 2 years of driving experience, preferably in a corporate or hospitality setting.
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance.
- Familiarity with local routes, traffic rules, and road safety regulations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Trustworthy, punctual, and able to maintain confidentiality.
Work Conditions:
- May require working beyond regular hours, weekends, or holidays depending on operational needs.
- Combination of driving, fieldwork, and occasional administrative tasks.
