Direct Healthcare Services:
- First Aid and Emergency Care: Providing immediate medical assistance to employees for injuries and illnesses, including administering medications and treatments as needed.
- Health Assessments: Conducting routine health checks, monitoring employee health status, and assessing employee health risks.
- Referrals: Referring employees to healthcare professionals or specialists when necessary.
Health and Safety Programs:
- Developing and Implementing Programs: Creating and overseeing health and safety programs, including wellness initiatives and preventative measures.
- Health Education: Educating employees on healthy lifestyle choices, disease prevention, and workplace safety.
- Risk Assessment: Identifying and evaluating potential health hazards in the workplace and developing strategies to mitigate them.
Record Keeping and Compliance:
- Maintaining Records: Keeping accurate and confidential employee health records and reports.
- Compliance: Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations, including those set by government agencies like DOLE (Department of Labor and Employment).
Other Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Monitoring and maintaining the stock of medical supplies and medications.
- Communication: Maintaining open communication with management regarding employee health and safety concerns.
- Coordination: Coordinating with other departments, such as HR, and external healthcare providers when needed.
