Responsibilities
The High-Frequency Tech Center (HFTC) is part of Keysight Labs, the core R&D organization that enables Keysight to provide RF, microwave, mmWave, 5G and 6G Test and Measurement solutions to customers in the communications, aerospace & defense, automotive & energy, general electronics, manufacturing, and semiconductor industries.
As an Intern, you will apply your knowledge and skill acquired from coursework and research to characterize, model, and optimize RF devices including heterojunction bipolar transistors (HBT), high electron-mobility transistors (HEMT), and diodes. At the same time, you will gain and apply knowledge about Keysight's industry, infrastructure, and products in your assignment. This develops real-world experience in a company that is a leader in the markets it serves.

Qualifications
- Pursuing a graduate degree or PHD in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Computer Engineering, or similar field.
- Experience with electrical test, device characterization and device modeling software including ADS and IC CAP is required.
- Experience with advanced microelectronics processes is essential.
- Specific skills in III-V device physics and processing are desirable.
- Candidates must have excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and communication skills for successful inter-group and intra-group interactions.
- Candidates must be highly motivated to accomplish all the tasks required to meet aggressive product development schedules and world class manufacturing expectations.
- This position is not qualified for sponsorship.
- This position requires EAR authorization.
Candidates who wish to be considered must be enrolled in a accredited college/university as of September 2026. Applicants who have graduated before September 2026 will not be considered unless they are entering/applying to a MS or PHD program after graduating.

California Pay Range: $49.83-$53.67 per hour
Based on experience, education and skills, most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed above.
