About the Role:
As a Cook, you'll play a vital role in our kitchen, preparing a diverse range of dishes and ensuring every plate meets our standards for taste and presentation. You'll work collaboratively with a supportive team to create exceptional dining experiences for our customers.
What You'll Do:
- Prepare and cook various menu items following established recipes, portion control guidelines, and presentation standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared and served promptly and at the optimal temperature.
- Safely and efficiently operate and maintain kitchen equipment (e.g., ovens, grills, fryers, food processors).
- Monitor inventory of ingredients and supplies, communicating ordering needs to management to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized workstation and kitchen area, strictly adhering to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow kitchen staff and the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service.
- Assist with the receiving and proper storage of food deliveries.
- Adapt to new menus, recipes, and cooking techniques as introduced.
- Perform daily opening and/or closing duties for the kitchen as assigned.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a Cook is preferred.
- Location: Reliably commute to or planning to relocate to Davao City before starting work (required).
- Skills: Strong culinary skills, a passion for food, and the ability to thrive in a busy kitchen environment.
- Availability: Full-time, 8-hour shifts.
