Main Purpose of the Role:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and organized Credit Investigation & Documentation Assistant to support our credit evaluation process and maintain complete and accurate customer records. This position plays a vital role in onboarding customers, minimizing credit risk, and assisting the accounting team with administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct credit investigations for new customers
- Maintain and update customer 201 files (both physical and electronic)
- Process documentation for account changes (discounts, terms, credit limits, etc.)
- Provide clerical and administrative support to the accounting team
- Coordinate with Sales and Service departments for approvals and status updates
- Submit quarterly reports on new accounts and pending credit investigations
Performance Indicators:
- Timely and accurate CI reports
- Organized and complete customer records
- Accurate reporting of account changes
- Proactive internal coordination
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
- 1–2 years of experience in credit investigation, customer documentation, or similar admin/accounting roles
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and coordination abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel & Word)
- Trustworthy in handling confidential customer data
- Basic understanding of credit risk evaluation is a plus
