Job Description:
SLGS PH Delivery Head will own the accountability of overall delivery objectives of all the engagements, be the single point of contact for partners and ensures customer satisfaction improves constantly, act as the go to person for guidance on technology/delivery for project teams, and takes care of employee engagement. Need to work closely with business CIO and RO teams.
SLGS PH Delivery Head is expected to deliver on promises, drives the overall delivery working closely with CIO and RO teams, monitors and manage the budgets, risk, schedule, quality, project governance, delivery processes, technical performance and architecture. The individual will also be expected to provide guidance to people managers, delivery managers, project managers, business system analysts, SMEs and technical leads across all streams of Individual platforms/projects. Needs to have solid delivery and hands-on technical experience in digital technologies and has delivered digital transformation engagements in an agile enterprise.
Preferred Skills:
- The candidate should have strong skills in building relationships, working in a matrix organization and managing multiple stakeholders. The individual will be required to lead and motivate project teams for achieving business outcomes and should possess strong bias for action and should be forward looking in terms of solving complex business problem with evolving technology landscape.
- Strong Delivery Management skills – indepth experience of managing multiple parallel projects/programs. Strong experience of managing Schedule, quality, budget, estimation, architecture, technical performance, processes, people, hiring, building capability for tomorrow etc.
- Previous experience in digital transformation involving Cloud, API, DevOps and Legacy Modernization in an agile delivery model (SAFe)
- Ability to work with technical teams to define solution and drive project execution plans along with experience in managing large span (300+ team members)
- Strong customer management skill
- Ability to manage diverse set of stakeholders, helps employees understand the impact of their work on the customer/ client, plan their growth path and motivate them to deliver best outcomes
- Strong ability to build consensus and drive decisions
- Innovative thinking that can break down barriers and provide unique solutions
- Strong skills at process definition and optimization, developing and building upon best practices

Qualifications:
- 20+ years of IT experience that includes hands on experience in SDLC, large program delivery management, process management, governance, risk, estimation, technical reviews, solution architecture definition
- 5+ years of experience in directly or indirectly managing large span (250+ team members)
- Experience in managing projects with tech stacks involving Digital, Cloud, API, DevOps, Technology Refresh, legacy applications
- An Engineering degree or equivalent from Tier 1/ Tier 2 college
- Experience of working in Insurance domain would be preferable
- Certifications in Cloud, SAFe Agile and DevOps would be an added advantage
Responsibilities:
- Will own accountability of overall delivery management: Owns overall delivery of multiple engagement including budgets, risks, schedule, velocity, quality, architecture, technical performance, and moving into production - collaboration with CIO and CDO (SLOCPI) to deliver the market objectives and priorities.
- Work span includes 300+ people, managing 30% of the work SLGS delivers to Asia markets.
- Be the single point contact for day-to-day delivery for stakeholders - delivery, system/platform availability and performance.
- Manages and processes, people, hiring, building capability for tomorrow working with CoE teams.
- Manage people forecasts and utilization, movement across projects/programs
- Collaboration with multiple stakeholders for business outcomes.
- Running governance calls and status reporting to all stakeholders
- Foster an environment of continuous improvement in terms of processes & partner satisfaction
- Works with partners for building resource projections and managing monthly financials.
- Will work continuously to improve partner satisfaction.
- Provides guidance on technology/delivery to SLGS project teams and takes care of employee engagement.
- Move projects from waterfall to DE WOW (Safe Agile)
