III. JOB SUMMARY
- Continuously review and improve demand planning processes and methodologies in the
- Commissary and Warehouse Departments.
- Prepares and presents forecast insights, gap analysis, and recommendations to the SCM Manager and VP of Operations.
- Regularly sends a demand plan per SKUs for commissary and warehouse.
- Communicate demand plans and inventory status to the SCM Manager.
- Execute materials replenishment planning for both food and non-food SKUs.
- Stays updated on the latest market trends and best practices in demand planning and inventory management, specifically for the food business.
- Drives continuous improvement initiatives in forecasting tools, processes, and reporting.
IV. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Inventory Management
1. Monitor inventory levels to ensure raw materials availability while minimizing overstock.
2. Develop inventory policies and procedures to optimize stock levels.
3. Develop and maintain inventory targets to align with demand forecasts.
4. Develop and implement inventory control systems and practices.
Demand Forecasting
1. Analyze historical data to forecast the production requirements and schedules in the
Commissary.
2. Create, develop, and maintain statistical demand forecast methods.
3. Manage lead times and adjust inventory plans based on supplier performance.
4. Adjust demand forecasts in response to changes in market conditions or supply chain
disruptions.
5. Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
Data Analysis
1. Monitors forecast accuracy and continuously refine forecasting methods and tools.
2. Utilizes statistical models and specialized forecasting methods to effectively predict
future product demand.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting
1. Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) specifically related to demand planning and
inventory management.
2. Prepares regular reports and presentations that cover demand forecasts, production
performance, and current inventory levels.
3. Prepare regular reports on inventory status, forecast accuracy, and other key
performance indicators (KPIs).
Communications
Performs necessary communications concerning the demand planning, forecast and estimations to SCM Manager and VP for Operations of Bebang Halo Halo. Coordinate closely with the warehouse, commissary, and operations departments to proactively monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels for both food and non-food SKUs.
JOB SPECIFICATION
EDUCATION :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineer, Business and other relevant fields.
WORK EXPERIENCE :
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a demand planning/forecasting role.
BACKGROUND :
- Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures.
- Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
- Must have a food industry background preferably in restaurants set up.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php30,000.00 - Php40,000.00 per month
