- Bachelor’s degree in any field; degrees in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related disciplines are preferred.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of proven experience in dispatching, logistics coordination, or transportation operations.
- Prior experience in trucking dispatch, port operations, or container yard coordination is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with shipping schedules, freight documentation, and coordination with port authorities or trucking providers.
- Proficient or experienced in using TABS Booking System (or similar transport/logistics management platforms).
- Comfortable with using GPS tracking systems, two-way radios, and transportation software tools.
- Familiar with basic logistics or transportation compliance standards (e.g., LTO, port clearances, etc.).
Key Competencies:
- Strong organizational and time management skills; able to manage multiple dispatches and schedules simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills – both written and verbal – for interaction with drivers, clients, and internal teams.
- Problem-solving ability to address delays, reroutes, and urgent delivery requirements.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and scheduling.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Work Conditions:
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and extended hours when required.
- Ability to remain calm and efficient during high-volume or urgent operational situations.
- Physically able to inspect shipments or coordinate onsite if needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of port processes, container yard operations, and customs procedures is an advantage.
- Experience coordinating with trucking subcontractors or third-party logistics providers (3PLs).
