Our facility in Manila, Philippines has been operating since 1996 with key functions in Design and Development, Engineering, Manufacturing and other disciplines. This site specializes in product design, process development and mass production of Photodiodes, Photodiode Arrays and High-Performance Sensors. These product technologies are primarily for LiDAR applications such as autonomous vehicles and range finding, as well as safety and security applications including smoke detection and luggage scanning.
We are presently seeking for Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager who shall develop and implement Environment, Health, and Safety programs, ensuring compliance with regulations, managing risks, and promoting a safe work environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Drives and establishes systems and new programs in EHS and effectively implement and sustain them through regular assessments and continuous improvement.
- Ensures continuous improvement in compliance with the Environment Management system (ISO14001), Safety Management system (ISO45001) and other regulatory requirements.
- Ensures timely submission of all environmental and safety government reports and renewal of permits.
- Coordinates and conducts training programs that promote safety, health, environmental preservation, and pollution control.
- Ensures proper operation and maintenance of environmental process control, and conducts timely testing such as effluent, WEM, audits, and closure of findings.
- Coordinates regularly with external agencies such as the Light Industry Science Park (LISP - SPCOA), LLDA, DENR, DOH, DOLE, and PNRI.
- Conducts and analyzes product compliance such as RoHS, REACH, Conflict Mineral, and other product compliance requirements.
Requirements:
- Graduate of Chemical Engineering or any related engineering course; Chemist
- PCO (required) or OSH practitioner (optional)
- At least 8 years work experience in Safety and Environment function
- Must possess adequate knowledge of Pollution Control, Safety, and Government reports
- Must be trainable and creative, a team driver
- Drive EHS committee management, must be a Pollution Control officer, Safety Officer 3, an advantage.
