Position: Employee Relations Officer
Work Location: On-site – Batangas City
Employment Type: Full-Time | Long-Term
Schedule: Graveyard Shift (Monday to Friday)
Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and people-oriented Employee Relations Officer to foster a positive, compliant, and engaging workplace culture. This role plays a key part in addressing employee concerns, promoting engagement, and ensuring alignment between people strategies and company goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Mediate employee concerns and facilitate fair, timely resolutions between staff and management
- Conduct and document coaching sessions to motivate and support employee development
- Respond professionally to emails and calls in a timely manner
- Plan and implement employee engagement programs, internal campaigns, and events
- Organize team-building activities that enhance workplace morale
- Propose initiatives aligned with company goals to improve employee experience
- Support company-wide assemblies, including logistics and agenda preparation
- Develop strategic action plans to support HR and organizational initiatives
- Improve HR documentation, systems, and workflows for greater efficiency
- Provide guidance on risks affecting employee relations and operations
- Assist in policy creation, review, and enforcement to ensure compliance
- Stay updated with labor laws and government regulations to maintain legal compliance
- Maintain confidentiality in handling employee and company records
- Prepare reports, schedules, and documentation related to employee programs
- Assist in screening and interviewing candidates for internal roles
- Identify training needs and support the design of development programs
- Conduct and automate onboarding and orientation processes
- Utilize Google Suite for documentation, scheduling, and reporting
- Create visual presentations using Canva or similar tools
- Collaborate across departments to support employee needs and foster strong communication
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in Employee Relations, Labor Relations, Employee Engagement, or related fields
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Creative, adaptable, and capable of building new systems and processes
- Team player with leadership potential and a proactive mindset
- Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar, etc.)
- Experience in creating visual presentations (Canva is a plus)
- Ability to lead and streamline onboarding and orientation procedures
- Familiar with labor laws and HR compliance requirements
