Key Responsibilities of an Equipment Technician:
- Installation and Setup: Installing and setting up new equipment, ensuring proper connections and functionality.
- Routine Maintenance: Conducting regular inspections, cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.
- Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnosing equipment malfunctions, identifying root causes, and performing necessary repairs, including replacing faulty components.
- Preventive Maintenance: Implementing preventive maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize the risk of unexpected failures.
- Technical Support: Providing technical advice and support to other team members, including training and guidance on equipment operation and maintenance.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repairs, including documenting procedures and reporting system failures.
- Safety Compliance: Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Inventory Management: Managing inventory of spare parts and tools, ensuring availability when needed.
