Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Executive Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team. Reporting directly to the Director of Rooms, you are responsible for overseeing all housekeeping and laundry operations to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. This role plays a key part in delivering a luxurious and welcoming environment for all resort guests.

Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, train, and supervise the housekeeping team, including room attendants, public area attendants, and laundry colleagues.
  • Schedule and manage daily housekeeping operations to ensure timely and thorough cleaning.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and performance evaluations.

Operational Excellence

  • Ensure all guest rooms and public areas meet resort cleanliness and presentation standards.
  • Monitor inventory and manage procurement of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities.
  • Coordinate with Front Office and Engineering teams to address guest requests and room readiness.

Quality Control & Guest Satisfaction

  • Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas to maintain quality standards.
  • Handle guest complaints and special requests with professionalism and urgency.
  • Implement and monitor procedures for lost and found items.

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, sanitation standards, and resort policies.
  • Train colleagues on proper cleaning techniques, chemical handling, and safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, training, and incidents.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of housekeeping experience in a resort or luxury hotel, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in housekeeping management systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in eco-friendly or sustainable housekeeping practices.
  • Familiarity with luxury service standards and guest expectations.
