The Extension Officer is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the assigned business extension office, leading a team of outsourced Promotion Merchandisers (Promodizers). This role focuses on driving sales performance, executing marketing initiatives, and ensuring operational efficiency. The Extension Officer plays a key role in achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sell-through targets through effective implementation of sales and marketing programs.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in any four-year business-related course
- At least 1 year of experience in distribution sales and account management
- Knowledge of local/regional business rules and regulations
- Proficient in basic selling techniques and strategies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
Key Responsibilities:
Channel Sales
- Ensure achievement of sell-through targets
- Conduct training to promotion merchandisers and in-store trainings to dealers
- Implement sales-initiated programs
- Build strong relationships with accounts
- Plan, coordinate, and implement marketing programs especially roadshows and exhibits
- Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews
- Disseminate marketing activities and POP materials to our promotion merchandisers and dealers
- Report and update demo machines and consumables usage and consumption to the Marketing and Product Management departments
Administrative
- Handle the petty cash fund of the office and ensure its timely replenishment
- Apply for extension office permits and insurances as required by the local government
- Ensure timely submission of requests for payment for water, electricity, and office rental billings
- Report immediately to Management any suspected violation of Company rules and regulations in the office
