II. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP
Reports to: FHS OIC / Department Head
III. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Summary: Perform FHS diagnostic procedures and conduct timely analysis and reports on disease monitoring and surveillance.
1. Perform diagnostic procedures for regular monitoring & upon farm request.
2. Aid in the analysis of results and drafting of technical reports.
3. Conducts clerical work, and provides accomplishment reports upon request of the department head.
4. Coordinates with the team to implement and improve the FHS program.
5. Deployable to perform field or laboratory work as necessary (i.e. cage culture sampling and inland farm visits) as deemed necessary by the FHS Department Head.
III. QUALIFICATIONS
Educational Attainment: College graduate (BS in Biology, Chemistry, Fisheries, and other related science courses)
Requirement/Skills:
- Aquatic animal species anatomy, morphology familiarity
- Knowledge in various laboratory analyses and microscopy relevant to fish health.
- Clerical skills
- Oral & Written Communication Skills (English & Tagalog)
- Familiar with MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
