Position Summary
Field Supervisor is responsible for leading and motivating Field Technicians to carry out key daily activities—such as product demonstrations, retailer visits, and major field meetings—with consistency, efficiency, and professionalism. This role requires strong technical knowledge of FMC products and the crops involved, enabling the Field Supervisor to train new hires and refresh the skills of existing team members.

The Field Supervisor ensures that the team operates in alignment with these values, while also delivering on daily goals and long-term objectives.
The Role (daily responsibilities)
Manage and lead the Demand Creation Team by providing clear direction, coaching, and technical support to ensure effective execution of key field activities, including product demonstrations, retailer engagements, and end-user interactions. Focus on building product awareness and brand credibility in alignment with FMC’s strategic objectives.
- Track and monitor competitor activities and programs within assigned territories. Gather insights on competing products, promotional efforts, pricing strategies, and market behavior, and share relevant findings with internal stakeholders to support strategic planning.
- Provide regular updates to the Sales Manager on key field indicators such as Move Out Sales (MOS), crop cycles, evolving farmer practices, regional challenges, and emerging opportunities. Deliver accurate, on-the-ground intelligence to inform decision-making and tactical adjustments.
- Facilitating the flow of critical information related to product use, technical positioning, crop performance, and customer feedback. Serve as a bridge between field operations and commercial teams to ensure alignment and efficiency.
- Execute and oversee end-user and retailer engagement programs, ensuring these initiatives are implemented effectively and consistently across the field. Measure program impact and suggest improvements based on field observations and feedback.
- Ensure accurate product positioning within the dealer network, reinforcing correct messaging around usage, benefits, and differentiation. Work closely with dealers to maintain product visibility, confidence, and alignment with FMC’s value proposition.
The Candidate(requirements)
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or a related field is a strong advantage. This educational background supports better understanding of crop science, pest management, and the technical aspects of FMC products.
- Min 3-5years of relevant experiences (sales / field technician) from agriculture industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Word for documentation and reporting, Excel for data tracking and analysis, and PowerPoint for preparing and delivering presentations to internal teams, retailers, and end-users.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license, as the role involves frequent field travel to various locations including farms, retail outlets, and dealer networks.
- Demonstrates a solid and trustworthy professional background, with a reputation for integrity, reliability, and strong work ethic in previous roles.
- Effective public speaker, capable of confidently delivering technical presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions to diverse audiences such as farmers, retailers, and field staff.
