· Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
· Ensure vehicles meet legal requirements, including registration, insurance, emissions testing, and licensing.
· Document and address vehicle safety concerns or operational issues reported by drivers.
3. Repair Management:
· Coordinate with authorized service centers, mechanics, and vendors for vehicle repairs and parts replacement.
· Evaluate and approve repair estimates and ensure timely completion of work.
· Maintain detailed records of repairs, service histories, and associated costs.
4. Fleet Records and Reporting:
· Maintain and update vehicle maintenance logs and records for audits and reporting.
· Monitor fleet performance metrics such as fuel consumption, mileage, and maintenance expenses.
· Provide regular reports to management on fleet condition, maintenance schedules, and repair costs.
5. Inventory Management:
· Monitor the inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment for vehicle maintenance.
Ensure timely procurement and availability of required parts to avoid delays.
6. Driver Coordination and Support:
· Coordinate with drivers to schedule maintenance and address vehicle-related concerns.
· Train drivers on basic vehicle care, safety checks, and reporting mechanical issues.
· Provide prompt assistance for breakdowns or accidents, ensuring safety and resolution.
7. Safety and Compliance:
· Enforce safety standards and protocols for fleet operation and maintenance.
