Job Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related field is typically required.
- Understanding food chemistry, microbiology, and processing techniques.
- Ability to analyze data from tests and experiments to ensure product quality and safety.
- Addressing issues like spoilage, flavor inconsistencies, or production inefficiencies.
- Ensuring compliance with strict safety and quality standards.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting findings to stakeholders.
- Innovating new products or improving existing ones to meet consumer trends (e.g., plant-based or low-sugar foods).
- Familiarity with software for data analysis, formulation, or quality control (e.g., Excel, statistical software, or ERP systems).
- 3–5 years of experience in food manufacturing, R&D, or quality assurance is often required.
- Analytical, technical, and communication skills; knowledge of food safety standards.
- Certifications: HACCP, CFS, or similar (optional but advantageous).
