The Franchise Sales Officer is responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new franchise partners to support the company’s expansion plans. This role involves managing the entire franchise sales process from lead generation, prospecting, qualifying, and closing deals while ensuring alignment with the company’s standards and brand objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively source and generate leads for potential franchisees through various channels (cold calls, networking, events, referrals, digital platforms, etc.).
- Conduct initial screening and qualification of franchise leads.
- Present the franchise business model to potential investors and answer inquiries about franchise requirements, investment, and returns.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective franchise partners.
- Conduct site evaluations and assess the suitability of proposed locations.
- Prepare and negotiate franchise proposals, agreements, and related documents in coordination with the legal and finance departments.
- Ensure that franchise sales targets are met or exceeded within the assigned timeframe.
- Assist in organizing franchise expos, webinars, and other events to promote the brand and attract prospects.
- Coordinate with marketing to develop and implement strategies that support franchise recruitment.
- Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to identify opportunities for growth.
- Provide timely reports and updates on franchise sales activities and pipeline status.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in franchise sales, business development, or similar roles, preferably in the food, retail, or service industry.
- Strong knowledge of franchise business models and operations is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Results-driven, with the ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Strong networking skills and ability to establish good business relationships.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Willing to travel as needed.
