About the Team & Business Line:
Fund Administration is Citco’s core business, and our alternative asset and accounting service is one of the industry’s most respected. Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions means our people are equipped to deliver a seamless client experience.
Main Job Functions/Tasks
- Review work of staff on a daily basis to ensure accuracy of accounting records, trade processing, cash and portfolio reconciliations, portfolio valuations, and net asset valuations
- Monitor timely submission of deliverables in accordance with SLAs
- Review administrative and accounting procedures and recommend solutions to improve efficiencies
- Ensure adherence to all internal and external audit standards
- Take a leadership role as a subject matter expert
- Manage a team of (Senior) / Fund Accountants; assist the Manager in preparation and execution of staff development plans
- Support the migration of new clients
- Perform other relevant tasks as required by management
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, finance or management
- Relevant professional designation is an advantage (CPA, CFA, CMA)
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting and/or custodianship; accounting experience in Hedge and/or Fund of Funds is a plus
- Minimum of 1 year experience in supervising staff
- Willing to work on shifting schedule
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Advanced skills in MS Excel is an advantage
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong interpersonal and client relationship skills
- Adaptable to a changing and fast-paced work environment
