The General Education Program Head is responsible for the planning, implementation, supervision, and continuous improvement of the General Education (GE) curriculum. This includes overseeing instructional quality, curriculum development, assessment of student learning outcomes, faculty coordination, and ensuring alignment with institutional goals and accreditation requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education
- Licensed Professional Teacher
- Completed Master’s Degree in Education
- With Doctorate Degree is an advantage
- Experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating curriculum, including learning outcomes, assessment methods, and instructional strategies.
- Proven experience teaching general education courses, demonstrating pedagogical skills and an understanding of diverse student needs.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team, manage resources, and make strategic decisions related to the program.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for collaborating with faculty, students, and other stakeholders.
- Experience in developing and implementing assessment tools to measure student learning outcomes and evaluate the effectiveness of the program.
- Ability to integrate technology into the curriculum to enhance teaching and learning.
- Familiarity with relevant accreditation standards and best practices for general education programs.
