JOB DESCRIPTION
The Head of Bank Operations is a senior role responsible for overseeing and optimizing the operational functions of a bank. Here are some key responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Direct and manage central operations, branch operations, trade services, treasury operations, and electronic banking.
- Risk Management: Identify operational risks, develop action plans, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Process Improvement: Re-engineer business processes to enhance customer service, cost-effectiveness, and controls.
- Policy Development: Design and update the bank's operations manual, ensuring adherence to guidelines and procedures.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor staff, fostering a culture of excellence and professionalism.
- Budget Oversight: Manage the department's budget and allocate resources effectively.
