The HR Officer for Payroll, Compensation and Benefits, and Employee Relations is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll and administration of employee benefits. This role also supports a harmonious workplace by handling employee concerns, promoting labor compliance, and fostering positive employee-employer relationships.
· Administer end-to-end timekeeping of employees.
· Ensure that all mandatory contributions are correctly and timely collected, withheld and reported to respective government offices.
· Liaise with government offices for concerns and issues related to mandatory benefits of employees.
· Track and monitor employee benefits utilization such as but not limited to employee leaves.
· Coordinate with the benefit provider (such as HMO) with regard to enrollment, adjustment and other necessary transactions.
· Prepare 13th month pay computation and consolidated withholding taxes.
· Coordinate with the Company’s Health Committee in conducting the Annual Physical Exam.
· Process clearance and final pay of separating employees.
· Prepares and process NTE up to suspension for Tardiness and Admin Cases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration or related field.
- Proven experience as a compensation and benefits specialist for at least 3 years.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willing to be assigned in Port of Zamboanga, Zamboanga City.
