The HR Specialist plays a key role in supporting the Human Resources department by managing daily HR operations, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and implementing HR policies and programs. This role focuses on talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training, and HR administration to support the organization’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and hiring.
- Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions.
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
2. Employee Relations & Engagement
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Promote a positive workplace culture and resolve employee relations issues effectively.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and feedback programs.
3. HR Administration & Compliance
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR systems.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in preparing HR reports, metrics, and audits.
4. Performance Management & Development
- Support the performance appraisal process and provide guidance to managers and employees.
- Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs.
- Assist with succession planning and talent management initiatives.
5. Compensation & Benefits
- Administer employee benefits programs and answer related employee queries.
- Assist in payroll processing and ensure accuracy of employee compensation data.
- Conduct salary benchmarking and recommend improvements where needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree or HR certification preferred).
- Proven experience as an HR Specialist, HR Generalist, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and best practices.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
