This position is responsible for overseeing operations of the hub teams, ensuring that all tasks are carried out efficiently and in accordance with company policies. This position focus on coordinating activities, managing staff, and ensuring that goals and deadlines are met.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervision & Leadership: Supervise and support a team of hub assistants and other staff members; Provide training, guidance, and development opportunities for team members. Monitor team performance, including productivity and quality of work.
2. Operational Management: Assist in coordinating the day-to-day operations of the hub; Ensure proper inbound, sorting, and outbound arrangement, and maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Manage the flow of work, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
3. Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Regularly assess operational workflows and implement improvements; Compile and present performance reports to hub supervisor; Identify and report any operational issues, offering solutions to resolve them efficiently.
4. Health, Safety, & Compliance: Implement safety protocols and ensure that the team follows safety guidelines; Perform regular safety inspections and take corrective action when necessary.
5. Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records and documentation, including work Shift , rotation, and reports; Manage shift scheduling and timekeeping for hub assistants.
6. Direct daily tasks following:
Maintain accurate records of parcels and provide management with an accurate representation of all parcels going in and out of the Hub.
Monitor and report any lost and/or damaged parcels to immediate superior.
Properly repack the damaged parcels and communicate with customers to ensure parcel arrives to them in excellent condition based on company standards.
Provide information to customers on the status of their parcels.
Conducts routine document and data control activities.
Other tasks as assigned by the immediate superior.
Qualification
- Bachelor degree in Business courses, Supply Chain or any related field.
- At least 2 - 3 years working experience in the Logistics/ Supply chain industry or related.
- Understanding of 6S management concepts preferred.
- Understand and interpret excel data on submitted reports.
- Good people handling capability and communication skills.
