WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a like-minded, like-hearted Inventory & Demand Officer who is passionate about advancing the Kingdom of God and serving off-grid communities nationwide by bringing renewable solutions for their development.
As the Inventory and Demand Officer you will responsible for ensuring efficient inventory control and demand planning at the Regional Distribution Center (RDC) level. This role involves managing stock levels, coordinating sales orders, processing delivery orders, and ensuring smooth logistics operations. The officer plays a key role in demand forecasting, inventory replenishment, and transportation planning to ensure accurate and timely product movement while optimizing costs.
Responsibilities:
Inventory & Demand Planning
- Ensure strict adherence to inventory control and demand planning responsibilities.
- Develop and maintain weekly demand plans based on sales trends and replenishment needs.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure optimal inventory availability at the RDC.
- Conduct regular cycle counts, reconcile variances, and submit reports promptly.
- Prepare and submit Stock Replenishment Forms (SRFs) based on demand forecasts and inventory movement.
- Consolidate and coordinate approved defective product disposal in compliance with company policies.
Order & Delivery Management
- Validate and confirm sales orders before processing delivery requests.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of Delivery Orders (DOs) for dispatch.
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to align inventory with customer demands.
- Monitor and address potential order fulfillment challenges to avoid stockouts or delays.
Last Mile Logistics Coordination
- Ensure smooth coordination of inventory movement between the RDC and hubs.
- Identify the most suitable transportation modes based on daily hub volume and delivery schedules.
- Align SRF fulfillment accuracy with transportation planning to optimize costs and efficiency.
- Support warehouse teams in streamlining logistics operations for on-time deliveries.
- Communicate clearly with field operations on expected deliveries and resolve any issues related to shortages or damages.
Education Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in inventory planning, preferably in a fast-paced or development sector environment.
Core Competencies
- Strong analytical skills with experience in demand forecasting and stock replenishment
- Proficiency in inventory management systems, ERP software, and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent coordination and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
