Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and tech-savvy IT Intern to join our Information Technology team. This internship offers hands-on experience and learning opportunities in various IT functions, including technical support, hardware and software troubleshooting, system maintenance, and IT project assistance. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, detail-oriented, and passionate about technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in providing technical support to employees (hardware, software, network, and peripheral devices)
- Help install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems and software applications
- Support the maintenance and documentation of IT assets and equipment
- Assist in user account setup, password resets, and access permissions
- Monitor and respond to IT support tickets and service requests
- Participate in IT projects and initiatives such as upgrades, deployments, and system testing
- Ensure timely escalation of issues to senior IT personnel when necessary
- Help maintain documentation for IT policies, procedures, and user guides
- Maintain confidentiality and data protection standards in all IT operations
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Windows OS (Mac OS is a plus)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies
